Overview
The Challenge
As a devoted patron of a barbershop, you gain insight into both their accomplishments and the challenges they face within the industry. The vision presented by CBSquared and Bartley Skills Development aims to address a prominent issue—the prevalence of unoccupied chairs that could serve as potential workspaces for barbers.
Solution
Chairshare offers a comprehensive solution to this challenge. Serving as the Airbnb equivalent for open chairs in the services industry, Chairshare enables barbers, hairdressers, masseuses, and similar professionals to conveniently rent available chairs within established shops for their work.
Ideation
User Flow
I created a user flow chart to delineate a plausible path for users when engaging with the app. This user flow delineates the journey from the perspective of a potential barber—starting from the onboarding process, moving through exploration and booking, and concluding with the successful rental of a space. This approach has facilitated the more effective creation of wireframes and prototypes for the app.
